In summer days, the productivity (work efficiency) of people
in Northern India, gets decreased by a great extent and in my opinion the main
reason behind this is the weather condition that prevails in this part of the
country. During these days, in daytime strong western wind blows, which make it
almost impossible for people to get out from their home. The difference might
not be clearly visible to someone who is staying there day in and day out but
anyone moving to this place from down south, can easily feel the difference. In
Hindi, the western winds are called as, “Pachua
Pawanein”.
In
earlier days of my life, when I was at home, these hot air waves were normal
for me. But, when I went to home this time (after spending almost 1 year in
south), I found those conditions somewhat difficult ant that’s what prompted to
writ this poem. One more thing I want to add here, no matter how difficult is
the weather condition, it is my native place, so it is and will always be close
to my heart and whenever I will find a chance, I will go there.
Veeraan
Raaste, Sunsaan Galiyaan,
Aur
Angaar Bani Ye Dharti.
Karte
Bayaan Ek Daastaan Hain,
En
Bayawah Pachua Pawano Ki.
Paani
Ki Ek Boond Ko Taraste,
Ye
Nanhe Pyaare Se Nabhchar,
Aur
Thodi Thandi Chawon Ko Ladte,
Ye
Chote Chote Se Thalchar,
Raahat
Ka Koi Naam Nahi,
Kyunki,
Jaan Le Rahi Hain Pachua Pawanein.
Yeh
Sar-Sar Karti Tej Hawayein,
Aur
Dhool Udaati Aandhi,
Badan
Jalate Ye Aakash Se Baraste Angaare,
Kaise
Koi Rahe, En Mushkil Haalat Mein,
Kai
Baar Mann Poochta Hai Yahi Sawaal,
Jab
Pareshaan Karti Hain Ye Pachua Pawanein.
Sookhe
Hue Khet Khalihaan,
Aur
Sookhi Hui Ye Nadiyaan Hain,
Ye
Sookhe Hue Hain Ped Aur Paudhe,
Aur
Sookhi Hui Ye Dharti Hai,
Mrig-Marichika
Ka Har Pal Dokha,
Karwaati
Hain Ye Pachua Pawanein.
Aa
Gaya Hoon Door Ab,
Un
Badan Jhulsaati Pachua Pawano Se,
Ab
Badan To Nahi Julasta Par,
Dil
Ko Kahin Naa Kahin Ab Bhi,
Jhulsa
Deti Hain Pachua Pawanein,
Door
Hun Unse Ab, Par Phir Bhi,
Yaad
Aa Rahi Pachua Pawanein,
Yaad
Aa Rahi Pachua Pawanein…!!
